The Guest Lounge
Our guest lounge is big, bright and beautiful, with huge windows all round and french doors leading onto an elevated terrace. Picture perfect, panoramic views stretch out to the hills of the Trossachs, the lush Forth Valley and the King’s and Queen’s Knots.
It’s the perfect place to unwind and watch the clouds go by, or relax by the cosy open fire in the winter months.
The Terrace
Soak up the sunshine and stunning views from our large outdoor terrace, while enjoying complimentary refreshments.
The terrace is an exceptional spot overlooking the castle woods and the King’s Knot.
It’s a bird and nature lovers paradise- kestrels and buzzards soaring high above the castle and squirrels, rabbits and garden birds all around.
Breakfast
Our Breakfasts at Castlecroft are made with the finest products and the wholewheat and white bread are baked freshly on the premises, every day. Our bacon, haggis and eggs come from Campbells of Linlithgow, where the haggis is made in their own production kitchen. We cater to varying dietary requirements and have a choice of gluten free cereals, vegan mueslis, vegan sausage, dairy free butter, dairy free oat or soya milk and organic yoghurts.
Views
To the west, gaze out over the majestic Trossachs, where rolling hills and rugged landscapes create a stunning backdrop—especially when dusted with snow in the winter months. To the east, enjoy picturesque views of the historic King’s Knot and the lush greenery that stretches beyond. Whether admiring the scenery from the guest lounge, the balcony, or the gardens, the ever-changing landscape offers a truly captivating experience throughout the seasons.
